-On favourites, Members' submissions are automatically approved. (5 per week)

Call for Artists:

In response to the theories and superstitions regarding the “End of Days” predictions by Mayan calendars and Nostradamus in 2012, this exhibition looks to the horizon of the new year and those to come. What if the end of the world is simply a new beginning?

"2012 and Beyond: Charting the Future" focuses on speculations for the future and exploring worlds, technologies & movements we have yet to create. It approaches science fiction through the lens of speculative fiction, observing technology and environments that evolved from dreams into reality.

How would a still life painting portray life in 2012 or 2022? What will our homes look like? Fashion? Animals? How will spacecrafts be designed? Will Aliens live amongst us? Will humans look the same? What about inter-species offspring?

Qualified Artwork:

In defining the uncharted future, “tomorrow” is just that, 2012 and Beyond encourages artists of all mediums to let their imagination be the limit and chart humanity’s future from 2012 onward. The exhibition asks artists to dream and merge current technology and astronomical knowledge of today with the genre of science fiction.

I don't know, I run a group myself (tho a much smaller one) and I know it's tricky to manage.

Hey guys, I am looking to raid, pillage, beg, borrow, steal and generally acquire for free and legal for a game mod a few Star Trek models in the 6-10k polly range.

I ask because I have taken on a project to fix a mod for Freespace 2 open with issues that were mostly table orientated but 3 of the ships have models borked beyond my ability to export them to blender and fix. Normally I would remodel them myself but I am not confident in recreating ST style models and the person I am doing this for is anxious to get started on mission creation.

The models I need are:
Danube
Marquis Raider
Jem’Hadar attack craft/fighter

Also the Excelsior and Ambassador classes are missing :wtf: and would greatly help in filling out the core Starfleet ships.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, credit given in the mod literature and I am willing to assist in the projects of anyone who helps if I can
